As Gaara lied on his back, he was thinking about what Naruto had said.. Those things about love and friendship.
He switched his gaze from the moon and stars to the edge of the roof he was laying on. A lone night-time bird sat there. He felt Shukaku grumble crankely from in him.
'You haven't killed anyone today.' Shukaku muttered boredly.
'Yeah, and?'
'Don't get smart with me. I want some blood spilled. You know, enjoyment.'' He put emphasis on 'enjoyment.
''T-to bad.' ' Gaara stuttered after flinching, knowing what was coming.
''Don't make me rape you again.'
Gaara whimpered.
''Kill that bird or else.'
Temari peeked from the trapdoor in the roof and said "Gaaaara.. It's been a week since you slept. We've got the chains ready..." Shukaku chuckled unheardly. She left when Gaara muttered something to the effect of 'be right there'.
Gaara looked at the bird. The bird was looking around in fear as though it knew it's fate..
Gaara shakely reached a hand forward toward the bird and muttered sadly, "Subaku kyuu.." Blood spattered around, and on his face and outstreched hand. He (sexily) licked the blood from his hand.
He watched a bloodied feather drift past as he headed toward the trap door.
''Happy now?'
'Yes, much.' Shukaku said dreamily.' 'So much, in fact, I won't mess with ya much tonight.'' Gaara couldn't help but notice the word' 'much'.
