~5~ Alternate route

'Do you realize how long you've been flying around with that look on your face?'
'Nope.' Tarashi said, as she flew over the treetops.
'It's been long enough that I am going to tell you to head back home...This takes a lot of energy, you know.'
Tarashi had to admit that she was pretty tired. 'Alright..' She tipped her wings, making her glide toward the left until she was headed the way they came.
When they were almost there, Telkcihc suddenly asked ‘where is your first aid kit?'
'Um... In the bathroom, why?'

Tarashi glided toward the balcony that lead to her room, eyes rather droopy.
'Stay with me..' Telkcihc said, trying to keep her conscious.
Tarashi's foot touched the railing on her balcony, followed by the other one. She stood like that for a minute, dress and hair swaying elegantly in the breeze. Then, without warning, pitched forward. Appearing to have lost consciousness.
‘Tarashi!' Telkcihc pulled out of her, changed into a human, and caught her.
She opened her eyes, stared at Telkcihc, and said, ‘That was fun' and passed out.
Telkcihc sighed. As weird as she was, that was comforting. Then he noticed that the hand that was on her back was getting wet. 'Shit!' He ran to the entrance to her room slid the glass door open, and ran to get the first aid kit.
Her eyes popped open again. Tarashi was asleep. Isarat was not anymore. She watched him fish out the necessary supplies from the first aid box.
When Telkcihc finished wrapping her back in bandages, she worked her shoulder blades to get a feel for them. She watched Telkcihc for a minute, and her watched her, thinking that she looked different somehow.
She stood up, watching him carefully.
Isarat slowly walked toward Telkcihc. She tugged him out of the bathroom and into her bedroom.
Telkcihc noticed that Tarashi's eyes were blazing. They weren't dull and dead looking like they usually were. Then he suddenly recognized something in her eyes. He inwardly shook his head. It wasn't possible.
Isarat locked the door behind her, not once looking away from Telkcihc. His eyes seemed to get wider every moment, especially after:
She pushed him onto the bed and climbed on him. "Ta-" Her mouth locked on his possessively. He struggled underneath her. Her hands held him in place. When she removed her lips from his, he realized that what he saw in her eyes was true. He then asked tentively, "Isarat?"
The now completely green eyes (They were blue.) brightened even more. "But, how?"
She said, "Telkcihc.. I don't know."
Then her eyes went electric. She shifted her hips and he jumped. He just realized what she was planning. Her hands slid under his shirt rubbed his chest.
"Isarat, stop. This isn't you." He softly gasped out.
"You don't know what's me anymore." She said while looking into his eyes darkly.
Telkcihc looked away. "I'm sorry."
"Saying 'sorry' won't change things" She said, the green burning brightly.
Telkcihc pulled her hands from under his shirt. His eyes met hers. There was a sadness etched in his eyes. "You needn't strain yourself. The wounds haven't even had time to turn to scabs."
Isarat's eyes slowly faded back to a human green. "Whatever. You never did love me."
"You know I did."
"...Did." She sat there, still in his lap, for a few minutes without speaking. She looked up. A tear fell off her face. Her eyes began turning teal. She closed her eyes.
When the eyes opened again, they were blue. Tarashi blinked. She looked down at Telkcihc, whom she was still sitting on. Her face pinked a little. "Uh?"
She crawled off of him and placed herself next to him. She felt her face. It was wet. She looked at her hand. "Did I miss something?"
"Not at all."
She stared at him disapprovingly. She felt a wave of exhaustion. "Uh, I'm tired. I'm going to sleep." She curled up next to him, and was out in seconds.
Telkcihc sighed. He changed to a bird at slept next to her.
