Another Object Humans Shouldn't Have. (AOHSH)

(Note: Dream based stories tend to be very weird!)

I climbed onto the monkey bars, following my friend who was sitting on the other end of them. I crawled across the top of them to get to my friend. We were visiting our old elementary school and were messing around in the playground.
"What's that?" I asked her.
"I don't know.. I just found it laying up here." She stated, looking at an object that looked like a cross between a skateboard and a snow board. It was like a snow board by it's smooth bottom, but like a skateboard by its rough top. It had two footprints on it, as though someone was supposed to put their feet there.
I glanced to my heeled feet that were dangling, forgotten, off the edge of the monkey bars.
I pulled my legs up and placed them onto the footprints.. I jumped in fright as I felt my feet become attached to the board...
.. The next thing I knew, I was floating in the air on the board.
My friend screamed "Oh my GOD! You're flying!"
I glanced down to the ground underneath me. The now dizzying height made me lose my balance and I fell backwards..
I was now dangling upside down from it, flailing, trying to figure out what to do.
"Urg! Let me go!" I eventually shouted. Humans shouldn't ask for what they don't need.. The board let me go, and me and it fell towards the ground.
I desperately grabbed at it so the fall wouldn't kill/severely injure me. When I gripped it, it stopped falling. Along with the rest of me. Me and the board hung in the air.
My friend sat breathless on top of the monkey bars still. Watching me and the.. Airboard?
"Uh.. Uh..Let me down?" I asked the strange board. It slowly lowered downwards.
When my heeled feet touched the ground, I let go of the board. The moment my hand released it, it dropped lifelessly to the ground.
I gaped at it as it laid on the ground innocently. It was laying as though we just found it.
My friend jumped down from the monkey bars and ran over to me. "Let me see that..!" She touched her foot to the footprint on the board. Nothing happened.
"Urg! I think you broke it!" She squealed.
"I probably did.." I admitted and I touched my foot to it and felt it stick. My expression changed into shock. "Or not..."

Since I found the board, I've flown around on it quite a bit. It is amazing fun.
