Tsunoru would rather leave a misunderstanding be instead of going through the trouble of explaining himself. The only thing important to him is his pride. That comes with a whole lot of arrogance, to the point of not considering himself a human anymore. He watches "humans" with some detached curiosity, but decides not to meddle too much with their affairs as long as they stay out of his. This means that he will stand by any injustice and not do anything about it unless he is somehow affected by it. He s probably judging them, but that doesn't mean that he feels the responsibility to interfere, after all humans can do what they damn well please, he got nothing to do with their nonsense.

He doesn't speak much and if he does, he usually doesn't have anything nice to say. Subtle and not so subtle insults, but not anything nice. This doesn't mean that he is incapable of being nice though. After all he eats food prepared by his companion although some of those creations are probably dangerous. He has a good nose, so he can probably tell before what is eadible and what not.

He just doesn't think of himself as rude or cruel, because in his own mind his actions make perfect sense and are obviously not suppsoed to be hostile. That his own point of view collides so strongly with the common belief about what is acceptable and what not is just another point convincing him that he is different from "humans" and can't be counted to their species.

Despite everything Tsunoru isn't stupid. He knows when he is in a predicament, but his pride will probably make it difficult for him to admit defeat. The easiest way out is finding a common or making up a temporary goal. In that case he can just pretend that he is doing whatever necessary because he wants to.

He doesn't have a life goal. There is no drive to do something special. The only thing he wants is to be left in peace.

Tsunoru uses his height advantage to it's fullest. He seems fond of being able to look down on people, making only very few words and even less gestures. His expressions are neutral at best. His manner of speaking is calm and composed. He appears to be a lot older than he actually is thanks to this behaviour.
H i s t o r yThe problem about his history is that he never talks about his backstory. He will purposely change the topic or simple not reply. But what can be concluded from the little he mentioned about his history, it's pretty obvious that he has never prioritized social activities and lived alone for a long time. Judging from the somewhat exasperated comments on his family, he apparently isn't the only pompous jackass out there. Why he is a Ronin is another thing he never discusses.

Tsunoru most likely stole the horse somewhere. It can be expected that the former owner won't need a horse for the next 9000 years. But still, there isn't much known about the time before Shichu joined him.

He made one mistake in his life and that was fishing a strange girl out of the water. Now he has a Shichu and he doesn't even know what a Shichu is, because it sure as hell can't be human. He doesn't get along with humans, in his opnion, but he oddly gets along with her. However, she isn't really normal either, so maybe that helps. As a thanks she cooked for him and that habit stuck to present day although her food is really, er, questionable. He usually eats it without complains though and keeps quiet about being really good at cooking. If it is absolutely toxic, he just lets it vanish into his sleeves and throws it away at the next opportunity.

At some point in the beginning of their awkward friendship he probably tried to sell Shichu to a brothel, but seeing as she is still with him, that plan failed. By now he got used to her presence and doesn't bother trying to get rid of her. Together they can almost function in society. He doesn't mind all of Shichu's oddities and can actually hold a conversation if he tries, while Shichu being around and punching him playfully when he gets too arrogant makes him blend in with "humans" more easily.

・The crest is his own, he didn't take over the one from his family for obvious reasons.
