I think you've made Nick more cute and adorable than I've ever made him lol. I really love this. It's so hard to explain why. You're gaining so much appeal in your artwork and style and it's really fun to see you progress. And I'm gaining a greater interest in your character here too. As much as these comics are about my characters, I'm learning about yours in the process too.
Also, you're absolutely correct that there isn't much to who Nick is at the moment. He's an athlete for a university (track and field) and is scared by Ryan's antics. But otherwise, not much! If I end up going through with my plans to do more personal art in 2019, I'll definitely do my best to flesh him out more! There's also a story I have in mind that has a male cheetah as the male character. I'm tempted to adapt Nick for that story, in which case, you'd DEFINITELY learn more about him that way.
I'm not sure when my next post will be, but as always I'll be sharing this with everbody when that happens! Thanks again for doing this. This is way too cute and I loooooove seeing these! <3 Nick's expressions in the bottom panels are just so adorable. X3

Aw, I'm glad you think that! For how often I've drawn cats, cheetahs just have something different about them that I struggled to capture at first.
You honour me! Arrogant as this may sound, I actually feel my art has progressed a lot these past two months, and a number of people have noticed this as well, and coming from you as well really puts a smile on my face Akarai seems to be everyone's favourite at this stage (methinks these comics have played a big part in that, hehe )
It's odd; on the surface Nick does seem like a relatively unassuming character, the expressions you give him (particularly in past few birthday posts) give me a profound feeling that there's a lot going on under the surface, something I'll expand upon in the next page
Oh, I can't wait to see more of your characters If they're already this interesting, imagine when they're fleshed out even more!
Glad you like it!

This looks amazing man! I just find the expressions to be perfect especially Akarai'sΒ expressions in the first and fourth panel, they just give off a perfect sense of uneasiness that just adds to the mood XP
And this like of reminds me of myself when I interrogateΒ my friends about what I just said XP

Thanx! :3 I shall confess, I am rather proud of Akarai's expression in the fourth panel XP
My inner English teacher makes me view the whole atmosphere in a literary sort of way: In the first panel we see Akarai nursing and healing his bonsai while asking Nick about himself in a caring way that suggest he wants to help. All of this contributes to the intense irony of when he completely flips around for no (immediately) apparent reason.
Haha, I imagine scissor-negotiations must be quite effective XD

dang the thought and care that goes into these is really apparent, love the detail of his tying the ribbon in the first panel! It's cool to see the continuity between each post.
Also Akarai sounds like my parents when I'm pickin my major haha

Haha, well you did make me promise the bonsai would be in the next strip, so Akarai had to perform some first aid XD Thanx!
Oh good grief! My condolances X3

Nonsense! People have been know to stop drinking his tea with absolutely no signs of withdrawal symptoms. Ferox's coffee on t'other hand you might want to watch out for...

It's a very beautiful country, for sure! The politics are just a bit messy at the moment.
There sure are cheetahs here! Mostly the northern parts of the country (like the Kruger national park), but leopards are found further south :3
