Description Resubmitting this since apparently it didn't take very well. o.0
*edit* It's still not taking. ;_; When I view my page it doesn't show up in the gallery (even though if you click galley it shows).

I want a black friesian named SunDown now! And just like that, I now have a character named SunDown.

Anywho... I was making a tutorial of sorts using a trial version of a screen recorder...But it messed up (it didn't record 4minutes of detail) and then I got mad and deleted what was left of the file. Sorry! Maybe next time.

Lovely painting! I really like the blended texture of the highlights on the horse, it does the perfect job of making the horse looking sleek and powerful at the same time.

o.O hmm..Ive seen this on a VHR horse, except it was a gypsy drum and tri-colored. - had you given anyone else permission to use it on there horse? Other than that its gorgeous. =]

By the way, I thought you where alot older. O_O

Yes, whenever I make an image that isn't a commission I usually feel nice enough to give it away for free with conditions. The horse belongs to my friend Paintedbelle and she plans to dye the horse "Quothe the Raven" or something like that. The only VHR horse it should be on is Rain Man. :3 Thanks for asking though, makes me feel safer about my art. ^.^

Oh my he looks like metal. I love how you shaded the coat those colours are excellent. I am especially fond of his forelock and fetlocks they look so full and handsome. Wow...are you really only fourteen?

This is great, love the texture of the coloring. Kind of reminds of me of the legend of the Dullahan, one of his forms is a rider on a black horse or just a black horse.

BEAUTIFUL! :Aww: i love the pose, i love the colors, i love the bending and the highlights. i love the mane and the black, i love the face soooo much! its so full of detail and alive, it almost looks real! there are a few things off but DANG. this is sooo beautiful! i love the detail you spendt on the face. holy crap. by the lips, its awesome under the nose theres three dots that made my day. and the blending you did above the nose, god. so beautiful. i love the upper part of the mane also, its got so much detail and strength to it, so realistic! and on the left side of the horse when your looking at it, how its darker, its so awesome you did an awesome job on the lighting, telling where its coming from and where the muscle values change. i salso love the wears ones buried inside the mane and you can tell its an ear, i find it amazing.
