Fire Elemental horses first documented appearance was when pencil hit paper in the the homeroom of a bored female fifth grader. Ever since the beast was found out on-line everyone has been looking, but it was only recently, in the year 2006, that someone finally captured the animal on camera!

Unfortunately for us, the camera man was just a tourist taking pictures focused on some slow acting lava and wasn't able to get a clear shot of this fast moving beast, hence the slightly out of focus blur. But thankfully, this picture caused nature TV hosts from around the world to congregate in the native lava ridden homelands of these amazing marvels of horses.

"It has since been found out that the flame on their backs can "light up" even more, sparking and kicking during rank, mating, and territory disputes. While they can be found with at least a dozen together, they seem to have little notice of each other unless it is mating season or they are directly related. An odd habit perhaps, but as they have no natural predators the observers though that the fight or flight had simply been bred out. That is until they sent out a robot to get closer shots of the young, then it was madness.

The baby let out a frightened whiny and the mother ran to its side to attempt to ward off our little robotic trooper. We stopped its motion and tried to reverse, but out of no where a charcoal coated stallion came, and then another, and then a mare. Before we knew it the mothers and foals had all turned charcoal, the whites of their eyes showing and the flames on their backs skyrocketing out of control. Where there had only been one adult immediately present, there were now 20! All bent on ripping our robot robotic limb from robotic limb. We of course grabbed our valuables and ran, lest we be found out by an angry horse or two."

In the year 2007 a new group of observers went. So far reports are good, saying that they actually have a very sophisticated herd system going on and while they are not easily distressed, a frightened young is all it takes to bring out a very beastly side of them, as demonstrated for the last Fireman Crew members.

"This time everything is being filmed and we're even setting up a live feed camera. We hope that our tapes will not only squelch any poachers, but will also educate our mass of viewers."Audrianna Wilson, Fireman Crew Equine Psychologist
