This is gorgeous! I love the glow effect that you did in the woods! Would you consider doing one for me? How much?

Thank you so much!
I'd love to work with you, Bane looks awesome. Could you send me a note with what you're looking for? I'll be happy to give you a quote.Β
Any specifics like if there's a background, what kind of environment, if it's flatcolor or shaded, etc. Will help.Β

the lighting is incredible! and so is all the foliage and shades of depth!
do you have any tips for drawing forest scenes and plants? I'm trying to get better at it myself, but it's been a bit difficult lately.

I really appreciate it! I had so much fun layering up that foliage.
As for tips, I actually use the lasso tool for a lot of my leaves. I crisscross the selection in chaotic patterns, overlapping again and again, and then when Iβm satisfied Iβll fill it in, and add another layer or two of the same thing, with different colors.
Then Iβll go in with my acrylic brush tool and paint over some of it to add in softer leaves. Blur the areas out of the line of sight, and blend the rest!
For things like grass, I normally just take a tapering brush and draw in each of the blades with super quick wrist/arm motions, remembering to curve the ends really helps. Do it with a large brush for less distinct grass areas where you donβt want the eye to linger, and with a smaller or sharper brush for grass that feels more detailed.
Mostly though, just remember to use references of forests! Itβll help give you ideas of where to put everything.
