I skipped ahead in my origin prompts, to "Where your esk feels safest."

That would definitely be his bench. Old, beat up, covered in moss, but surrounded by his closest friends, and most comfortable things.
He's not small enough to live -in- the moss anymore (which was a surprise. There was a definite moment of "wait a minute HOW DID MY BENCH GET SO SMALL" when he was first transformed.) but his bench is still his home.
It's a little harder now to lay on it, but he makes do.
