A soul trapped in a mask makes for terrible evil
Become a deity to release a poor soul from its puppeteer mask
Four giants aid you in song
A hero once again

That was the poem my friend Natalie had written for this painting awhile ago.
Anyways here's my painting for Majora's Mask!
The painting consists of Link and the 3 masks he acquires in the game. The Goron and the Zora are both spirits while the Deku scrub is just a manifestation of Link's fear of them...so he's not a spirit.
Anyways, this took me 3 years to complete and I think that it turned out ok...considering how long it took me. I actually had to fight myself on redoing things to make them look better. Who knows how much longer it would have taken me if I had done that.
Well Im also thinking of selling this. So if anyone is interested in it just send me a note and I'll give the details on it.

....oh and I find it odd that there isn't a fanart section in the painting section of deviant.Done in oil paint on a 24x36 canvas and took 3 years to complete.

Awww Majora's Mask good times, tho I have to say I was a little bit disappointed with the game, I like ocarina of time A LOT MORE jeje anyways very good work here, I love how you draw Link and also the thing next to it forgot how it's called (the thing that throws like "rocks" at you)

The Deku butler always talks about Link reminding him of his own son when they used to race each other.
At the beginning of the game after the Skullkid transforms Link into a deku, you see a lifeless sad looking tree when you get to the central tower of clocktown from underground.
In the ending credits of the game, you see the Deku butler grieving in front of said tree.
I played the game too much, so I know these things.

Yeah they will do that in portfolio reviews. Ive gotten crap for doing zelda stuff before, but it doesn't mean Im going to stop doing fanart....plus it's not really meant for other people....just me and the few people that like it for what it is....fanart. I don't really see anything wrong with it...just as long as you say that the character isn't of your own creation, but the image is. Then I think it's just fine and if your trying to sell it I believe that if the other person knows what it is and that it's not your character then I also believe that it's ok. But that's just me and my ramblings.

No. The graphics in the game are great. It's just when you play the GC version ...say I had to go left in one of the dungons, in the Wii version I would go right instead of left. The graphics are a mirror image of the GCs. The image looks fine it's actually really awesome, but the game for the Wii plays as a mirror to the GC version. Sorry if I confused you in anyway.

Haha! Yeah you'll actually have to play both games to notice....or you could just find a strategy guide for the GC version and then one for the Wii version and take a look at the maps. That will explaine everything.

strategy guides, in my opinion, kinda spoil everything. i'd much rather beat the game first on my own, and then buy a strategy guide to find out what i missed. but that's just me
