I decided to edit this because I was finally able to write my friend Natalies poem onto my painting. Sadly I couldn't get it scaned again so I used Picture It to write it on the painting. It costs way too much to scan it again...*sigh* why can't they make scanners bigger than 81/2"x11". Oh well. But here's my friends poem.
HE IS LINK
Destined hero on a journey
Through the door to find a sword
He holds it up to the ceiling
He holds courage in his hand
Through forest to fight Phantoms
Over lava to fight a Dragon
Underwater to fight Water itself
Into shadow to fight a Shadow Demon
Across a desert to fight against Magic
Into Darkness
Into Light
With ocarina in hand
To save a princess
And lock away evil
He is Link--- Hero of Time
All together this painting took me 3months, done in oils, and on a 12"x16" canvas. Well I hope you enjoy it.
