Series: Avatar: The Last AirbenderI had to use a reference pic for Smellerbee's pwn-tastic jiu-jitsu skillz, mainly because I wanted to be accurate. This doujin has been great practice for drawing fight-scenes, but I need so much more work.
And yes, I'm quite aware that her gesture in the bottom-left panel might be construed as obscene in some countries.

Okay. Well, just because of the last eppisode, when his pupils grew huge, I'm doing Jet+Cactus Juice=???.
I don't believe the big shiny lamp thing did the trick on the Jet man. It's the weirdest thing dancing naked through my head right now, Long Feng getting Jet drunk. Not pretty, but it's there, and because I don't want it there, it comes out here. Maybe I'll draw a big ATLAB party with Jet and Sokka spiking the punch with cactus juice. Or maybe I'll asign a drink to each freedom fighter.

I broke down and used a ref for the middle panel, but the result is pretty decent. and her gesture in the last panel was purely on a whim, but now I think it's a permanent aspect of her character for later projects.
