it's Sanguine my little demon vampire girl character. She has retractable wings but tends to fly with or without them out, and ranges from pixie size to normal size if she were a human.Ain't she cute?
She's one of the few characters I've got that I've stubbornly refused to attach a story to, she just is. She has a brother though, who I vow to draw at some point. Anyway, it feels good to draw something again after my little gap and I enjoyed some of the techniques I used for the inking, but ultimately it came out a little disappointing, which is probably why I went for the bright and simple colouring instead of anything more onerous.I like the pose though and it seems like a fair depiction of character.

You've already heard my views on it but I just thought I'd mention that the wings look wicked that colour, and I think the plain background is indeed better. Her boots rock.

Aaah, new art! The Skangl is most pleased.
Simplicity is nothing to be ashamed of, and in this case I feel halps empahsize the picture's generally pleasent and 'cute' feel. Her eyes especially are excellent in this respect, and the two separate tones are very attractive when used this way. Nice simplistic eyelashes too help the overall composition of the face, almost forming a line across it where her eyes are to help show how her head is turned.
I love your balance of sharp points and curved lines, since they yield a sense of completion when used together. I also like how the skulls on her dress are actually a different color in the shadows instead of a rather unoriginal simple darker hue ;p. You have mentioned to me before how important that is, and it shows. I like the near-outline of the lighter shade in her hair, since I think it's very adept in its ability to portray light without undue detail as many artists atempt.
All in all, I actually find it quite striking, and unbelieveably cute *^_^* nice work, Tim! (¬¬;; my dad is yelling at me or I probably would have made this longer. Sorry)

i love your style, very professional and you chose perfect colours for an adorable little succubus, her pose is very sweet and proportioned, what more can i say? you're good at what you do. her dress is very pretty...i remember the last picture i commented on was toura(i love that one-forgive the spelling) and i said she's darkstalker material...so is this one for some reason lol.

If she were a plushie, I would huggle her until she disappeared from hugging overdose. One of the cutest and original characters I've seen in a long time. I like the simple coloring, it really works for the character. Her design is just to great. I love this picture.

Forgive me if i insult you, but does she has horns? In that case i think they shouldn't be exactly the same color as the wings, just a little bit lighter/darker or something

LOL Don't worry I'm not insulted easily, and you're right - they are horns, and they do blend in a bit being that colour
I guess I was being clever/lazy and using the same colour for the wings, horns and tail, but in hindsight I should have used different tones. Hmm, actually I might go and change it ^_^
As for the centering, it's just I drew/scanned it that way to fit her on the paper best, and didn't give it another thought, another good point though

Her size varies - kinda fairy size up to human size and anywhere in between, so she could certainly fly round in circles like that
