Hey. I just wanted to congratulate you for the dragon tails webcomic. I still have it on my hard disk (althought in low quality :( (Sad) . I have been reading it since year 2000 or so). Every few years I re-read everything and have a good laught.
I have been learning how to model in 3d and sometimes I wish to make some sort of remake with the full original stories. The comic really deserves it!!
Also I really wish you republish the whole comic in "high res" (I do remember back then I didn't bothered in saving it in that format since I had a 640 X 480 monitor and I could only go to the cibercafé and save a few comics in a floppy drive, 1,4 mb) 19 years later I really regret that choice.

Also, from time to time I'm thinking in animating a story where the character, among some other stuff, reads dragon tails. as a homage of how much I enjoyed it.

Oh wow! I read dragon tails way back in the day. Then when cactus came out I got that not even knowing dragon tails would even be slightly related to that!

I loved Dragon-Tails, as it was my first foray into webcomics and I still think it had more heart, and took more chances story-wise, than many modern, more popular we-can-live-off-of-this webcomics do. However, I am primarily glad to see you still have a creative outlet, and I'll definitely be checking out your game on Steam.

Heeeeyyy there. So, I recently finished AAC. Great game, and I love the characters. But I was wondering if you had any plans to do some more in "tall" style, like that one from '04 "Cactus on the factory floor"?

thanks! :) (Smile) Hmm, so the funny thing is the 'tall' style was definitely closer to how I originally pictured them, the big head style works better for in game where their large heads make them easy to spot what way they're facing. Since so much of my stuff has been connected to the game, I end up mostly staying 'on model' in that regard.

I would like to draw the cast in the taller style when I get the chance though...

Words cannot express how much I would flip my absolute lid if Dragon Tails was to start updating again. To this very day it remains my favourite comic series, and I've lost count of how many times I've read through the archives. Thinking of going through again right now.

Thanks and it's good to hear from you! :) (Smile) As for being back in game development, I never left! It's been my career for the last nine years, I've just worked up the courage to step away from a regular pay-cheque and try to make something for myself. Lets see how it works out!

Hmmmmmmmm I looked into it a while ago, it didn't feel like it was going to be feasible. But there might be better options for small run print jobs these days (it feels like that kind of stuff keeps getting better) so I should really take another look!

Not sure what kind of demand there would be after all these years, but it'd be fun to do.

Wow, crazy timing for me just now. I used to read your Dragon-Tails comic daily yeeeears ago, like around 2004, and for some reason thought today "I wonder whatever happened to that dragon-tails comic I used to check forever ago". Went to the site to see it hadn't updated since 2010, so I got curious about that and figured maybe the forums said something. When I went to check, I saw that you had responded to a thread from 2011 just 4 days ago. If I had checked 5 days ago instead, I wouldn't have seen your response, and so I probably would still have no idea what happened to you. :P (Lick)

So yeah, just wanted to share that story with you and say thanks for all the years that you devoted to working on that webcomic. I hope your new endeavours are even more successful. :3

Thanks! And yeah, I've been developing games for a number of years and am now pursuing my own projects. I released a small free game called Antibody a few months ago, but am currently working on a game that's a bit more substantial and character based that I'll be announcing quite soon!

Hey sycle, I really enjoyed your webcomic DT. You did realy good with the artwork and you are really good with rendering some really good animations. I know that DT has not updated in a while, and I understand that you have a life to live just like anyone else, but I just have to ask, are you going to continue the webcomic? If not, then I fine with it, but I just need to know if I should still be checking the website as often as I do, considering I have read all of the comics so far. I don't want to be stuck trying to look after a comic that won't update, so I was just wondering. P.S. Your artwork far surpasses anything that I have seen from some other people, especially mine. Thanks a lot!
