"You saw me." she announced with cold quiet certainty as she glanced back over her shoulder.
"I did..." he replied his head lowered down upon his chest.
She filled her left hand with water and emptied it over her long flowing raven hued hair, exposing the fangs and the tongue of the second mouth that sat on the back of her head.
"Then you know what I am." she continued calmly as she took another handful of water from the small wooden tub.
"Yes." he replied through the growing and painful knot that was forming in his throat.
She sighed as she let the water run over her hair.
"Then you know what you must do..." she glanced back at him, her face a mask of utter and perfect serenity.
"No." he honestly replied as his left hand instinctively went for the hilt of his blade. "No, I don't."
A half smile, a smile devoid of mirth or joy passed over her face as she returned her attention to her hair.
"Yes you do." she countered without a hint of aggression. "You have been...an excellent student. You have learned well all that I have taught you..."
Again she ran the water from her pail over her hair. Peaceful...patient, not rushing even a single drop of that precious water.
"You have foresworn yourself to this life...you have sacrificed much to learn and master the your trade..." she pulled her hair from the bucket and strained it, squeezed it over that bucket. "...you have already taken your vows..." she picked up a terry cloth towel from the floor and wrapped it around her hair. "...and you have vowed, upon your honor, upon your very life to keep safe each and every life...from the unnatural ills of this world..." he watched as she, tenderly, carefully dried every last strain of hair with that towel, before she folded it, and placed it aside. Her back still toward him she rose, slowly rose to her feet letting her hair fall over her exposed back.
"And you have done well my student. You have honored your vows. You have defended the people. And..." she brought the top half of her kimono over her shoulders without letting a strand of hair get in her way. She slipped one hand into one sleeve and was about to put her left through the other when she stopped. "...you have honored me." she took a deep breath as she turned toward him, the left side of her chest exposed her face as serene as ever. "...now only one task remains. One last monster to slay."
His hand hovered over the hilt of the blade, the very blade that had dispatched many a beast and dangerous fiend with ease.
She was right, he knew as much. There was still one task that remained...
...but try as he might his hand would not obey. His hand would move no closer toward it's one so trusted weapon.
"Please..." she calmly pleaded as an errant, rogue tear burst forth from the banks of her right eye and charged down the pale virgin soil of her face. "...please end this pain of mine. Free me from my personal monster, and honor your vows. For the people. For me."
A voice spoke to him as she stared at the maiden fair, a voice within the tortured silence of his head:
She is right. There is only one way...
As he stared at the woman, his mentor the one to whom he owed so much another voice echoed within him...
THERE IS ANOTHER WAY.
He knew that this voice was right.
There was another way.
Another way to "slay" a FutaKuchi-onna.
One that he was hesitant to try. One that his master, the Lady fair might not approve of. One that might reduced his stature in her eyes. But he had the weapon, and he had the will...
... he acted and he acted swiftly!
He took the weapon from his inner pocket...
...and he slipped it over his master's ring finger on her right hand.
Her eyes, her magnetic and powerful brown eyes widened as she stumbled away from him. Her hands flew to the back of her head. Her mouth opened as her fingers prodded, as her fingers searched through her hair...
...then it happened. The truth dawned upon her face like the brilliant light of the morning sun.
He took to his knees his head held low.
"Please, please forgive your presumptuous and foolish hearted student...but he does not wish to loose his dear master."

絵もエセくずし字も独学です
字は検索サイトがあるのでそこで一文字ずついいのを選んで...という感じです。
歌も習ってないです
私は主に小説から発想を得てますので、作中の歌だったり、歴史物の人物の歌を検索して載ってる古文書の字を模写したりしてます。

歌は有名なやつばかりです。
「西行法師」のは「願わくば花の下にて春死なんその如月の望月のころ」、「在原業平」は「世の中に絶えて桜のなかりせば春の心はのどけからまし」、「小野小町」は「花の色は移りにけりないたづらに我が身よにふるながめせし間に」、「牛車の中」は「黒髪のみだれもしらずうちふせばまづかきやりし人ぞ恋しき」です。

This looks very enchanted one. Originally, I also planned to draw Futakuchi-onna last year but it was changed to be Shikigami instead. XD Her origin and story is quite interesting too. Amazing art!
