Description
You couldn’t believe how time seemed to fly when you were with Tadashi. One minute the moon was shining high in the sky, the next it was disappearing behind the horizon to make way for the sun. After Tadashi had so gratefully fixed your wing the two of you just started talking. He told you about his friends and about his family while you told him all about the secret world of fairies. At first he was just in shock that there was a whole ‘nother world with in his but once the shock wore off Tadashi became very intrigued.

“So every fairy has a unique talent?” he asked after you finish telling him how it was your job to help with the changing of the seasons.

A small smile crossed your lips as you start to feel your eyelids start to feel heavy. “Yep. Some help with the animals. Other’s help grow plants and some fairies can even control light. I, myself, am a Tinker Fairy. I help build and fix things,” you continue to explain.

Tadashi had to hold back a laugh as you let out a tiny yawn. He watched as you stretched your arms up over your head before laying down on one of his erasers. For the past few hours he couldn’t help but think how cute and adorable you were, especially as you curled up and looked up at him with sleepy eyes. “So your pretty much an inventor like me?”

All you could muster was to nod in agreement as another yawn is ripped from your small body. This time Tadashi couldn’t help but laugh as he tried to suppress his own yawn. He glances out the window and suddenly finds himself wide-awake. “Oh no Aunt Cass is going to kill me! I promised I’d be home hours ago!” he cries as he bolts up out of his chair.

You look up at him through sleepy eyes. “I should be getting back to. The others will be worried about me,” you say as you slowly try and push yourself up.

He looks down at you and feels his heart break slightly at the thought of you leaving. That’s when he sees how you hold your injured wing and suddenly an idea pops into his head. “Hey, it’s going to be a while before you can fly. Why don’t you . . .” he starts to ask as he rubs the back of his neck nervously. He locks his chocolate eyes with your (e/c) ones.

“Why don’t I what?” you ask feeling heat rise in you r cheeks as he looked at you.

The young student takes a deep breath. “Why don’t you stay with me for a while. This way I can keep an eye on it,” he finally gets out.

Now it was your turn to suddenly be wide-awake. Did he really just ask you to stay with him? "Like here at the lab?" you ask as you try to wrap your head around what was going on.

A blush crosses his face. "Here and back at my place. Just so I can keep a really close eye on it," he explains not looking at you.

Joy rushes through you at the thought of being somewhere other then the University. But that little voice inside your head was telling you that this was a really REALLY bad idea. Queen Serena would never allow it and if she ever found out she would ground you for sure. You looked up at Tadashi and saw how much he really wanted to help you. So how could you say anything other then, "Sure why not? It's better then me trying to get home and only permanently injure it."

Tadashi's adorable smile reappears on his as he jumps up out of his chair. The next thing you knew he was doing some sorta happy dance. This caused you to burst out laughing. He stops quickly when your tiny laughter hits his ears. Now his face was as red as a freshly picked apple. And you thought it was the cutest thing ever.

"I'm sorry. I don't know what came over me," he says sheepishly.

Before you could tell him you thought the dance was cute the door to his lab opened. "Are you talking to yourself again, Tadashi?" a girl with short black hair with purple streaks asks as she pops a gumball.

You let out a small squeak before going to hide behind the mug you had earlier. Normally you wouldn't bother hiding because you knew they couldn't see you but since Tadashi could so you didn't know if that meant so could his friends. From your hiding stop you could see Tadashi's cheek darken, if that was even possible. "What! I do not talk to myself!" he objects glancing at your hiding spot.

"Ya GoGo. Did you not see the tiny girl on his desk? She had sparkly (f/c) wings and one was wrapped up," the one known as Fred states causing your eyes to grow wide.

Okay so now that was two adults who could see you. What the heck was going on? Could the others see you too? Was Queen Serena wrong?

The one called GoGo snapped another bubble with a very unimpressed look on her face. "No Fred because there was no tiny woman."

So she couldn't see you but what about the other two? The tall dark skinned guy with dread locks and a very tall blonde with pink glasses looked over at the desk. You pop your head out from your hiding spot to see if maybe they could see you.

"Ya Fred. I think you were seeing things again. The only one in here is Tadashi. No tiny woman with wings," the one you knew as Wasabi states after giving the room a cautious look.

The tall blonde, also known as Honey Lemon, gets a big smile on her face. “I kinda wish there were tiny woman flying around! That would be so cool but it’s not scientifically possible,” she says sadly.

Tadashi gives the others a curious look. Why couldn’t they see you? This didn’t make any sense. Fred seemed to be the only one who could actually see you but none of the others could. He made a mental note to ask you if you knew why. For now he would just pretend he had in fact been talking to himself. It was the only explanation that made him sound less crazy.

“I-I don’t know about any tiny woman. I’ve been up all night working on my latest project so I might have started talking to myself because I’m so exhausted.” He lets out a yawn and stretches his arms high above his head. “Which reminds me, I was just heading home for a nap. I’ll see you guys later okay?” Tadashi grabs his bag and places it on the desk.

He nudges the bag so the opening is parallel to the desk. You take the hint and quickly run into the bag. Once you are safely tucked away, Tadashi slowly lifts it over his shoulder. You peak your head over the edge to watch as Tadashi makes his way over to his friends. They split down the middle allowing him to pass.

Fred slaps him on the back and smiles. “Nice catch dude! She is a babe,” he states with a smile.

A blush crosses Tadashi’s cheeks as he lowers his head. “I-I don’t have the slightest clue what you’re talking about,” he mumbles as he passes.

GoGo lets out a snort like laugh as she pops yet another bubble. “I don’t think Fred even has the slightest clue what he’s talking about,” she says before heading off to her end of the workspace.

“I would take offence to that if it wasn’t true,” the longhaired boy laughs as he follows after her.

Tadashi uses this distraction to make his exit. Being as gentle as he could, he made his way over to his moped. He wanted to get you to his place before you could change your mind. Unfortunately neither of you realized that a small figure was hiding in the flowerbed outside the lab watching you and they were not impressed one bit.
