I quite liked the original "Sweet Lolita", and I don't think I did that good job at making it the best way possible, not that I had the ability to do that, which is why I made this re-mastered version, which I made while taking into account everything I didn't like about the original artwork, plus the things my critiques pointed out. I still believe I could have made a much better job at coloring it, and I may do that in the future, for now, I hope you like the current new & lovely "Sweet Lolita" :3Related content

about the re-mastered version. the eyes had already pass the test. because
its really much detailed & fits the character expression.
the dress itself is very bold and have details in the fringe and ruffles! very well done.
but now the negative one...
the skin is pretty much looks like watercolor with pencil. the shadow itself cast a smudgy skin color and cause the light pale skin to be smudged looking. the hair
had lose many details, the hair look much better in original version than this one.
I kinda think that the pose still looking a bit too forced (a.ka stiff)...
the lighting near the hair blends perfectly with white background.
PS.
anyhow, keep studying on pose and skin coloring.
sorry for the destroyed grammars, English is only my second language (Im an Indonesian) and always slacked at English grammar class.. (mostly because when the teach got into speeches, I doodle. mostly bunch of odd things a.deviantart.net/avatars/t/r/t… " alt=" " title="trollfaceplz" /> )
anyhow, I'll stop this long jibba jabba. . ... some area need to improvise really hard are -> pose + skin + details.... don't let the negative one stop you for drawing. just draw to your heart content. nuff says :iconawwyeaaplz:

I agree with you about the skin, it is not perfect, butI consider it very good considering that I don't usually color with that style, I will definitely work on improving this.
I also agree about the hair, as I didn't spend that much time one. As for the post, there really isn't much I could do about it without changing the picture, but since I wanted it to compare easily with the original artwork, I kept it as is.
Don't worry about your grammars, I could understand you very easily. I highly appreciate the time you took to make the critique, which I am going to mark as fair right now, I hope to see you comment on my upcoming artworks :3

But the shading in the skin needs more volume. Also, while the face has better eyes and a better structure, stills lack more mass in thel eft side.

You are right about the shades, I still have a thing or two to learn when it comes to soft shading, but this is a good start for now~
