Try drawing with a reference in hand! It doesnt have to be exactly the hairstyle you are drawing, but something similar 8Db

That's really handy advice. It's one of those things that, I use reference every once in a while, and when I do I love it! But I never think of using it on a regular basis xD; Hey, if I wanna learn... I need to teach myself!
Just out of curiosity, do you have any particular books/ artist that you look to for inspiration and reference? (Both for hair/clothes, and poses even?)

Yes! I do actually!

Right now, my current favorite artist is Shiro Miwa so I'm trying for his style! I really love how he does his hair! Its like..chunky and stringy at the same time <__>

I definitely recommend you set up a pixiv account and look at the top deviations of the day! then save them and use them as reference later ~ I found that really useful and economical >D

Oh wow, I checked out his artwork and it's so pretty! :3 I've always loved art like that I wish you luck on achieving your status as "Miwa's grasshopper" lol OTL Personally, the artist I look up to is Satoshi Kon (RIP :< ). I've always just loved that style of artwork, but it'll take lots of practice for me! hehe

I have a pixiv account, but I've never thought of that :3 It saves on buying art books, and it's much better artwork. xDD

I'm glad that I could help!

I personally recommend coming to watch when she is Ustreaming when you can! She is really helpful when it comes to anatomy (if you have that problem) so it helps to see her draw c: (she's helped me countless of times with my poses QwQ )

Once you have anatomy down, you can focus on faces ! Dont be like me and work backwards! Its a pain Q_Q
