I really needed to get back into painting. I didn't realize how much I missed it until I sat down in front of my mirror and just let myself do... well, whatever I needed to.And can you imagine my relief that when that 'whatever' comes out... as something strong and lovely? It may not be as colorful as my happy times, but at least we're on the way up from black and grey... and bruise colors. It seems I can never force out anything except what's true at the time.
Step by step.

This is one that really sucks me in and captures my consciousness. The other night there was a costume ball down here and a few girls did makeup designs for masks... I can't tell you how I wished you had been there to dance and to do designs on half of the people who came without any costume at all.

Amazing design, I admire the way you mixed the flowing motive of black down from the eye with the white amn blue accents. As some have already mentioned, I too am quite happy to see something new from you)

I love that there is a very faint blue-green around the large black section on your eye. It brings out your eye colour very nicely
