Yaaay, I finished it!Garrus and Shepard, as I imagined them after the final battle, based on a GMV I saw on youtube. In the video, the squadmates are searching for Shepard in the rubbles, the last voice belongs to Garrus who sounds a little overwhelmed and relieved at the same time. He founds her, but I don't want to know if she's dead or alive. I love both options, either he's broken and furious as he carries the body of his dead love, or worried and anxious as trying to save her.
I originally did this picture for a contest, what I apparently won, the theme was game characters, so I used the opportunity to finally get myself to do a fanart for my beloved favourite game! An earlier version of the picture can be found on my facebook page, I had to stop working on it because of the deadline, and I didn't want to submit is here until it's finished. But here it is, I hope you'll like it as much as I enjoyed making it!

Wow, well done. The detail in this is stunning. From the cracks in her armour to the smoke and debris, to that grim look on Garrus' face and Shep's limp hand...it's just really beautifully done. And might I say, far more satisfying than the actual game ending. I'll hold out hope that she survives this.

I know that Bioware did made her/him damaged by this Harbringer beam too, but here we can see that even badass, with luck to fight every odds, is fragile like every other human. Amazingly done. And beside that the details man. If I'd look at this under influence of something or without glasses I'd think it's a 3D or photo. I'm aware that you already know it, but I have to say it anyway. You have talent.

Fantastic work! I love the details, like the cracks in Shep's armor, the small lights on Garrus's. You gave him such a perfect, enigmatic facial expression, too; it allows the viewer to breathe their own interpretation of the story into this moment. My God, this beautiful painting occupied my heart in a blink of an eye month ago... Sorry for coming so late)) Every time I look at this art (and I do often since it has become my phone's wallpaper, amd also it impresses me to write fanfics 'bout SheKarian), it hurts so good... Best ending ever!
I also enjoy every detail here. Such a thorough work that does an astonishing effect. Shep's wounds make me hurt, but damn, how much emotion is there in here and they are definitely an important part of it.

Of course you won! This is incredible! That dusty, smoky background, the lighting on Garrus's armour, all the details on Shepard's torn-up gear... it's beautifully done. And I love how it can be interpreted either as her being dead or alive, though I know which one I prefer.
