Description I just saw Over the Garden Wall and I have to say that I adored it! It was such a uniquely creepy and dark fairy tale, but it still managed to be so cute at times. Nice job, Cartoon Network! This isn't one of those more cutesy moments of course. I was trying to capture the darker ambiance of being lost in the Unknown. By the way, I absolutely love Wirt's design. His pointy hat and cape are just so cute!

The most emotional scene in this story (besides the ending of course) was the moment when Wirt realized that he had lost Greg. Darn your pessimism, Wirt! Why did you have to give up?!

Thanks for the recommendation! It really was great.
I was so engrossed in the whole feel of the show, I just had to try and capture it! I couldn't not draw fanart.

Oh girl don't you know it! I rarely do fanart anymore these days, but a day after it ended I went with a friend to this paint-and-drink-wine place and wound up ignoring what we were supposed to be painting and did fanart for the show No regrets (except I didn't include the frog in my picture....but the two brushes we were provided with were so big and awkward it couldn't really be helped).
What was your favorite episode of the show? The last three were awesome, but I also LOVE the obvious yes-this-is-a-fairy-tale-and-you-need-to-act-accordingly-Wirt of the "Songs of the Dark Lantern." OH and the "Lullaby in Frogland" was precious and sad and good----gahhh this show is so good!

Ha, ha! Any chance of us seeing this fanart?
My favorite episode? Dang, that's a tough one. Well, it's hard for me to think of this show very episodically since I watched it all in one sitting and it all flowed together into such an amazing climax!
"The Song of the Dark Lantern" was great! Wirt the Pilgrim riding off on a horse to rescue Beatrice was a joy to watch!
"Into the Unknown" was awesome too! I was watching the rest of the show wondering "where is Wirt from that birds don't talk, but capes and pointed hats are in style?" And then you find out that it was modern times, but on Halloween night! Beautiful!
but if I had to choose just one episode as my stand alone favorite, it would probably have to be "Hard Times at the Huskin' Bee." I loved how frightening that Pottsfield was and the humor of the whole thing. Wirt's there-were-all-these-rocks excuse was hilarious.
