Description

"I run and run a thousand miles
And I am barely breathing
Only the fuel of a passion heart
Keeps this body strong and moving forward

But could it be I found a place to rest
How far until I'm okay
Trees of the town reveal the time has come
Once again to shift our shade and color

The world always changes around us,
But weakness will always remain
Through all the pain believe in who we are right here and now

Raise one hand to the sky
Raise them both, lift them high
And we'll cut through the darkness, Make it go!
The time to start is now
And I can show you how
Come with me and the world will be even bigger than ever before"

My next entry for the ClubTeenTitansOC 's Monthly Mission: Musical March.
My character Kenji with the song Shissou from The Ouran High-school Host Club. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mc1Fvr…

This song is so upbeat, but the picture turned out to be so depressing. I really wanted the ink to have a high contrast so I colored everything else in pencil. Very effective, I think.

does he had the ability to transform into his ink form like the brush shogun?

Yes, though he can't control his actions in that state.

The contrast between the pencil and the ink is very strong. And it's quite interesting how the song takes on a quite different meaning with the context of this picture.
I'm afraid I am a bit confused by his hand: where his thumb stops and where his pointer finger begins. But that might be function of trying to keep the integrity of the contrast.
All in all, very thought-provoking.

I went through a number of other songs before landing on this one and was quite surprised that it turned out to be so applicable.
Once I did the inking here I realized that his hand was a bit too obscured, but I also thought it worked on a certain level, in that you sort of start to lose track of him under the ink.
