A scar that goes across the bridge of her nose. On her left eye, scars criss cross above and below her eyes. Thankfully didn’t result in blindness.
History
Kit
As a kit, Echopaw was abandoned at the border of Riverclan. Her father and mother were left unknown, actually, nothing was known about her. She was brought in and raised by another queen in the nursery, Swanflight, who had recently lost her kits to greencough. The Swanflight raised her like her own, and cared for Echokit greatly.
Apprenticeship
When Echopaw was made an apprentice, she was overjoyed. Some of the other kits had been staying away from her when she was younger, but she didn't really mind. She was finally happy to be an apprentice to start having duties to serve her clan. A moon after her apprenticeship, she was out one sunny day with Swanflight, just talking a walk near a river. Echopaw, still pretty young then, strayed too far into the water of the river and was swept down in the swift currents that were in the middle of the river. Her mother came to rescue her, and was able to help Echopaw up onto shore, but the strong current was too much for her and she was pulled under, and swept away. Echopaw never saw Swanflight again. When she returned to camp, she had broke down in the middle of the clearing when she told everyone. Swanflight was later assumed dead. Echopaw mourned for Swanflight for at least, three sunrises and sunsets. She was the only cat that she had, and now she had lost her, and for her own stupid mistake. Echopaw will forever, blame herself for what happened, but she will always know that Swanflight is either watching over her.....or still out there.
During the middle of her apprenticeship, her first mentor Duststar, died from what seemed like Starclan's wrath. Stricken by the loss, she fell behind in her training, but was soon brought back up by the new leader, Badgerstar. He was a more strict mentor, but he eventually showed a kind heart. He taught her well, and she soon started to catch up. However, her short lived happiness would be cut off.
During that time, she had become friends with a few other apprentices, and when all of a sudden, almost all her good friends died. Four out of 5 or 6 of them. The young she-cat fell into depression, for she hadn't really experienced that much loss, in such a short life time.
She again, fell behind in training, and went way past the due time for assessments. but her mentor let her be and recover. Though she never did. She just pushed it aside and barely completed her assessment.
Warrior
Her warriorship started out a little rocky, she was still getting used to the duties. However, she soon fell into step and things calmed down for a bit. She still struggled with a little depression and insecurity, but was able to manage. Then the scale plague hit. Cats soon fell ill with the chilling weather, and things got hectic in the she-cats life. To her horror, cats started to die, which brought back bad memories. The warrior was assigned apprentices, however even they too succumbed to the plague. They she-cat’s constant self-doubt and anxiety didn’t help with her situation, and even then it added onto the fear and panic that was running within the clan.
Though one day, while out on a patrol by herself, she ran into a friend she had made while she was an apprentice, Adderbite, who was now a warrior like her. They talked for a little at the border, where she expressed her concerns and what's been keeping her down for the past few moons. The tom helped soothe her worries, and she left him feeling a little better. She continued to try to help her clan, and with the coming winter, prey was getting scarce.
New Responsibilities
One day, Echocreek was sleeping peacefully in the warriors den, when a prod in her side had awoken her. She was surprised to see the leader standing there, a look of distraught in his eyes. He pulled her aside, outside of camp. They walked to the border, where Badgerstar told her what she never wanted to hear. The young leader had lost all of his lives to the plague, and he was on his last life. The warrior now noticed that he looked skinny, and she told him he should get back to camp and rest. What he told her next shocked her completely. "I am sorry Echocreek, I cannot return to the clan" "Why Badgerstar?!? Your clan needs you!"
"I cannot because I am leaving. Forever. I am returning to my tribe, where I was born." he said to her. "I pass down the leadership of Riverclan to you, Echocreek. I know you'll lead the clan well, to a brighter future." he said and disappeared into the undergrowth.
The warrior returned to a leaderless clan that night, and drifted off to sleep with tears in her eyes and worries on her mind. The next day came, and Echocreek was woken by the meows of shock and distress in the clearing. The small she-cat knew she would have to tell them, but it was not like she was popular amongst the clan.
When she went to climb the announcement perch, silence swept through the clearing as she peaked over the edge of the perch and cleared her throat.
“B-Badgerstar has-has left the-the clan,” she had stuttered, her quiet voice managing to carry in the dead silent camp.
“A-and he le-left me as th-the new-new leader,” she meowed. This brought yowls of protest and anger as she cowered on the high perch.
Eventually after this, the clan came to terms with this news, and Echocreek left to receive her nine lives. She later chose Tornadoclaw as her deputy.
Leader
The beginning of her role as a leader wasn't smooth at all. Yes, she chose her deputy, however there was distrust and anxiety running through the clan. The plague is still hitting hard, and cats are dying more quickly than she thought.
However, to make things worse, an incident threatening war happened. One of the older warriors, Stoutclaw, wanted to get revenge on a Thunderclan warrior for killing a warrior in Riverclan. Being the gentle soul she is, Echostar denied it, and banned him from the action. However, the warrior went against her orders, and along with some others, raided the Thunderclan camp in the middle of the night. Echostar was awoken by one of her warriors, telling her that they'd seen them leave. Infuriated, the young leader gathered the rest of the clan to help Thunderclan against the attack, and to hopefully show that they weren't enemies.
The battle was rough, some cats almost died. Echostar ran into Maplestar, and they fought side by side for a while before they inevitably got separated. During that time, Stoutclaw attacked Maplestar, and took one of her lives. At that, the clearing froze and Echostar barreled through the crowd to see the damage. She attacked Stoutclaw herself and the rest of the others fighting drove him off. She managed to repair the trust between the two clans, but she noticed as they were leaving the territory, she could feel gazes piercing her pelt.
A few moons later, while she was out on a patrol by herself, Stoutclaw, now a banished rogue, attacked her out of the blue. She was unprepared, and almost took one of her lives. The older cat soon overpowered her, and it looked worse for her. However, their fight had brought them to the river bank, where big rocks poked up from the damp ground. The leader was cornered against a boulder when he leaped forward to deliver the final blow. She ducked out of the way and slammed him against the rock. When he didn't move, she inspected him to find the rock had cut a long line down his forehead, and was bleeding.
Feeling bile and horror rise up on her, she stumbled away and ran as fast as she could, the scene replaying in her mind as she stumbled across the territory. When she made it back to camp, she collapsed from exhaustion. When she awoke, she was being treated in the medicine cat's den. She had slept through the night, and her wounds were patched up. Afterwards, she had a patrol look for his body and bury it.
Now, she continues her duties as a leader, trying her best to fill in the paw steps the previous leaders' left behind.
Leader - Prophet
As the Plague swept through the clans, cats began to die off one after another, and Riverclan seemed to be hit the hardest. The clan dwindled down, and leader felt the impending doom start to creep over the clan. As she watched more fall, she tried to hope for a cure.
Then late one night, while everyone was finally getting some rest, Echostar was awoken by some unknown force, and she opened her eyes in a deep dream to see Rowanstar, one of the very past leaders of Shadowclan, standing before her in all of his glory. She could tell he was troubled, and she herself was about to spout off questions, when he silenced her.
"Echostar"
The leader had been sleeping peacefully, dreaming of better days when the deep voice crept into her mind, forcing her out of the pleasant dream and her blinking at the black of night. However, it wasn't as dark as she thought. As her green eyes adjusted to the light, Echostar noticed that the bright light of the moon was bathing the den in a ghoulish light.
"Echostar, get up"
She heard the voice again, and turned her body around so that she was looking at the entrance. However, she would be looking through the entrance if not for the starry figure standing there. Her breath seemed to be sucked out of her chest as she took in the sight in front of her. A Starclan cat was standing before her, stars seeming to roll off his pelt and billow around on the cave floor before disappearing. His eyes were blazing green, and suddenly in her mind, a whisper that seemed so faint she almost missed it sounded. 'Rowanstar...' it said, and her eyes widened as she looked up at the past Shadowclan leader in surprise, and fear.
"Rowanstar?! What are you here for?! Are you visiting me because of Stoutclaw and what he did to ThunderClan?!" she asked nervously, her mind racing with questions, and the guilt of the incident that had made Riverclan and Thunderclan uneasy with each other. She was about to open her mouth to ask more, but was silenced from the look that appeared on the cat's face.
"No Echostar. I have come to tell you, that you are my Prophet and that I will send my words through you, when I can." the leader replied.
She again, opened her maw to ask him more questions, when he began to fade. 'Wait, no! I have so much to ask you!!' she screamed with her mind. She thought she saw something pass across his eyes, like understanding.
"I cannot explain what I mean just yet." he warned, "Be faithful and you will get more information. I promise" Rowanstar said as he finally faded.
Echostar stared where the figure had been just moments before, her heart hammering in her chest. '..Prophet? W-What does he mean by this? Is this happening to any other cats?' she asked herself, and buried her muzzle under her paws, trying to block out the world around her. Everything at once seemed to come crashing down on her, and she flattened her ears against her head, trying to calm herself.
Left in confusion, she tucked the secret deep inside her mind, not sure if she should alert the clan or not.
Pretty soon, the Gathering came up, and the clans straggled together with what healthy cats there were. It was Echostar's first gathering as a leader, and with the Plague and other stress piled on, she was strung high on nerves. Announcements went well, until an unknown factor came into play. A rogue by the name of Titan had appeared before the clans, speaking of a cure for the plague. At first, the clans were outraged with a rogue interrupting a gathering. However, as they gleamed as much information they could, Prophets began to step forward, revealing that Starclan had chosen them to help find the cure.
When Echostar stepped forward, she was scared out of her mind, but was still surprised, and relieved that she wasn't the only one. They eventually came up with a plan, and the Prophets would go on a Journey with Titan to get the cure.
It started out rocky, but however, by the time the group reached the cure, they were well accustomed to each other. They all returned safely to the clans, and the cure was finally delivered, helping the cats that were still alive.
Time of Foreboding
After the Plague had been cured, peace seemed to sweep in over the clans as they tried to recuperate. Riverclan had lost more than half of its clan members, and they were left with barely any cats. In the time of the Plague, Feathertail had died, and was replaced by Dewsplash, who had been burdened with keeping many of the cats alive the best he could. WIP...

Riverclan
Dewsplash - He has been so helpful throughout the clan after Feathertail passed. However, I know he still shoulders the guilt from the cats that died, and I just want to help him out of it. He deserves to be happier, for he's helped save many lives.
Dappledpaw - She had such horrible luck when she was a kit, yet I hope for the best for her. Although I hope that she doesn’t go to the shadows.
Ravenwhisker - At first, she seemed like quite the offputting cat, yet I could see her determination and loyalty. I am very glad for her as she has helped me lead the clan.
Windclan
Adderbite - I hear that your mate recently had kits. I am happy that you are doing well, and it was nice to be able to talk to you again. Windclan is definitely lucky to have a deputy like you.
Skyclan
Shadowclan
Thunderclan
Autumnwhisper - She is a very nice she-cat, and I’m very happy for her and her kits. She was a valuable cat when the Prophets went on the journey, and I do hope to stay friends with her.
Maplestar - She seems like a very capable leader, and I’m glad that she was able to forgive us for Stoutclaw’s mistake.
Non-Clan
Titan - He was an odd character. I wonder how he is now.
Starclan
Badgerstar - I wonder what happened to him after he left. It has been a couple full seasons now that he has left. I wonder if he’s even still alive. Whatever, he clearly showed where his loyalties lie.
Cyclonepaw - He and his brother were one of the first to approach me and try to befriend me. They are but distant memories now, but I hope that you reside in Starclan peacefully.
Typhoonpaw - You along with your brother were such pranksters, I have no idea how you didn’t get punished. Anyways, the universe is cruel to take your life away from you. I hope that you and your brother are happy in Starclan.
Barkpaw - You were quite the apprentice back then, if I remember you were the flirtatious type. Your end came to quick for you.
Duststar - Even now I have trouble remembering him clearly. He gave me one of my lives, yet it was a brief meeting.
Dark Forest
Icefang - I know that she is like the ‘queen’ of the Dark Forest. She has made an appearance at a Gathering, and seems to be influencing Dappledpaw. I hope that this twisted cat leaves the clans alone. She seems to have something out for me.
Stoutclaw - I do not doubt that he has gone to the Forest of No Stars, for revenge just seemed to have consumed his heart.
