it's one of those projects that i never get around to finish it. and before i know, i lost interest in it. it was going to be used as an illustration for a flash game. but we've changed our mind.an illustration based on a japanese figure painting. i don't know the name of the artist, but when i find out, i'll definitely include it here. created using Illustrator CS.

Before I even read your Artist's Comments, I thought to myself: "That is an amazing digital representation of traditional Japanese paintings." It reminded me of some of the paintings I have from when I lived on Okinawa, portraits of elegant kimono-wearing ladies I loved from my childhood.
Then I read your comments and saw that this was the intention. Silly me. A breath-taking piece, though. I love it.
