well, i still love them... just one person doesn't make the band, really. I love Marco's voice, the guys are all awesome, the music's still good... what bugs me the most is how Tuomas' lyrics started to change after Century Child (my fav album).. anyways. I would prefer Tarja to be with them, honestly, it's not that Annette isn't good, it's just that she sounds like Sharon, so if I wanted Sharon I could just listen to Within Temptation... Tarja was deffinitely the IT in Nightwish. Anyways, I'm not giving up on them... I wanna know how this will go. Plus, I owe their music a great deal, so..

mmm... i completely understand and agree with you... although, after i heard what a showboat and ego-eccentric woman tarja had become, i knew that something was bound to happen... its one thing to keep the same band and get a different singer to create something new and better, but its just not wise of them i think to try and make annette into another Tarja; just not a good idea - i know my friends are pissed at that fact alone, nevermind the changes that have not been made in their lyrical style... i understand you completely. i just feel so bad for annette because she keeps being compared to Tarja and insulted for her singing style which is similar to sharon definately... just feel bad thats all...

Well Tuomas said that they wanted something completely different than Tarja but that is wrong in the way that Annette cant sing the previous songs. I mean REALLY. she just MURDER the damn things, when i listen to her try to sing what Tarja did so easily i just pity her. and its not like they can just stop singing the old ones!!
as for her being selfish... I dont really think thats the case, cos honestly, the letter shows just Tuomas' thought. Personally, as much as I love Tuomas i know that HE alone is the one being completely selfish. He did the same thing with Sami back in the early days. He made the band chose betweet Sami and himself, and ofc Tuomas is main man so... I'm not saying the didnt have their differences I just think he handled wrong with the open letter. after all those years they worked together i think she deserved something more than being ditched so cruelly.. besides, Tarja would have left the band either way a year later at most -she've said that before. So all than letter nonsence was just bad. I'm on Tarja's side at that not because i didnt think that her attitude was perfect but because if we see it clearly THEY betrayed her... whatever... i wrote too much, you must be bored.
