Very heartwrenching... though... not all shelter dogs are sad, animal control and other shelters really do try their hardest to make a home away from home for these guys until they get adopted... at least all the one's I've been to anyway.

(I honest-to-god had to sleep on the floor for the 1st 2 weeks he was home because his little ass stretched out & took up so much room on my bed)

at the local animal shelter. I went there to drop off some wild baby kittens I found covered with ticks in the woods & they ambushed me with this skinny little, timid, scared-to-death-of-all-the-other-dogs, mutt & I had to save him & give him a good home.
Sorry to post so much but if one person can just bring home one animal..... well, you know...

Yes, that photo really is a shelter dog.
Your babies are beautiful. You are a great person & have a lot of love in ur heart to give for adopting shelter dogs and giving them something so few shelter dogs and cats will ever get to see or feel.
