Oh my lord. okay it's official: The second I move out I am rescuing maybe 3 pits. If not more. Rescued both dogs I have now, a mutt and a toy poodle. Yes, a toy poodle. No one wanted even her.

That breaks my heart. I'm not strong enough to ever work at a shelter, knowing the sad fate of so many animals.

Grrrr....you are killing me with these photos! Of course, I volunteer at my local shelter and I see the effects of over-population as well, but your photos are just so powerful in this cause. Great job!

I commend you for volunteering @ your local shelter. After all...all an animal wants is just a few of someones precious time to love them, hold them close, and tell them what a good boy/girl they are.
Always remember...We are their voices..We must tell their stories and their sufferings to the world.
