Well what to say about this... probably a lot...

Pirates...yet... not

this was an idea that struck me pretty much in the face... and i had to get it out of my system... i even bought new art supplies specifically to create this drawing. I had kind of a charlies angels type thing going on in my head... who knows where it came from...
I have worked on this for 7 days... longer than i've ever spent on anything... it's 12 x 16 inches ... just a bic mechanical pencil and a pile of erasers.

Please be kind to these ladies... they've all undergone major surgery... besides the tail/fin/tenticle transplants and complete leg removal... there was a pregnant belly-ectomy... some random breast inhancements and assorted tail piercings.

this is just a photo from my digital camera...

ok... scanning it in two halves is apparently out of the question...sorry... i'm just not that good :/

Wow, You're great at pencils too Fantastic shades, detail, their faces and look of the eyes... And I like the idea - reminds me of female version of Davy Jones' crew - You probably watched "Pirates of the Caribbean"
