This is something that bugs me. Now, I would like to say that I am in no way hating against people that are Pro-Life, as I know people who are Pro-Life but don't try to force other people to believe what they think.
Just be respectful to my opinion and I'll be respectful to yours.

Anyway, I am Pro-Choice. I believe that a woman should be allowed to have an abortion. I live in Ireland, where abortions are illegal due to our country being very Christian/Roman Catholic. Its so bad that a lot of women that want to have an abortion have to go to England to have an abortion and can't tell anyone about it because there is a chance that that person can tell the garda, and the woman who had the abortion can be prosecuted.
Yeah.
However, I am not saying you should have an abortion. A lot of Pro-Life arguments I see happen to have the idea that if abortion is legal, every other woman is going to be sleeping with everyone and aborting the babies every day without a care in the world.
Thats not at all what would happen.
You don't wake up one day and think "Oh I'm going to have an abortion".
Having an abortion is not a easy thing to do, and even when a woman goes through with it, it will still be on their minds for a long time after. Maybe even their whole life, maybe even till the point they end themselves because they weren't strong enough to deal with what they did. And the thing is, to have an abortion is a very hard thing to do.
Some people who have an abortion don't even want to abort their baby, but its due to other factors like;
The baby has a severe deformity and would suffer because of it.
The baby has a condition where if it was born, it would not live for very long and would be in pain all throughout their short life
The baby has a condition that can very heavily impact its quality of life (down syndrome seems to be the one people point to when they mean this, even though there has been cases where people with down syndrome can live a full and happy life).

A woman might want an abortion for other reasons; like if the child was conceived through rape (there has been cases where the mother hates or even worse, abuses their children that were conceived through rape) or the mother can barely support herself, and thus the child would not have a good life due to the mother's life.
A common answer I hear people say in response to this is to just put the child up for adoption. But do you know how many kids are up for adoption? And how many of them don't get adopted? And how hard it is to even adopt a child?

Anyway, you get my point. I am Pro-Choice. Not Pro-Abortion. Abortion is not as simple as people make it seem like it is.
