I showed this to my buddy and she said 'Nice. What is it?' T^TJust a fast doodle of some ornate armor with a hair and ribbon triple crest. Long story on these guys but I just wanted to put his design on paper, at last.
His armor is supposed to look something like an exoskeleton and more natural. And these boys/girls can fly without wings because reality does not influence them which is why his positioning it just floating. They spring from rocks, mountains, grains of sand, a single drop of water, or.....your toothbrush. They live everywhere and disturbing their home means...death to you and all around them. Blah-Blah-Blah. Long story.

I have always loved a good TIGHT natural looking armor. ;D
But yeah, now that you mention it, I wish we COULD be selective on certain picts. Perhaps an option to "SHow to your friends" only. I have some picts that I wish I could only show to those that I specifically want to show...and yet have in my gallery.
I cannot stand the " I watch U, U watch me" kids that ask the most damn obvious questions that are ADDRESSED in the DESCRIPTIONS> *___*;

Careful around the waist. Unless you're doing a comic book style there are organs that belong in there; don't go making people too thin now
Beautiful design. Reminds me of a softer version of what the character from Dark Sector wears when you can his exoskeleton armor.

Good hint and I did notice the disportion of the waist but, in all reality, he's not a person at all. The original design had much longer legs and tiny ankles, wrists, and an impossibly slender neck but all that led to a 'delicate' design and suggested a certain frailty...which was not the point.
But I am deeply appreciative of your comments as, if anyone on here can give suggestions on realistic proprtions and has a stunning mastery of anatomy, I would certainly place you among the top ten.
Thank you and I will have to check out Dark Sector. I really wish I had all these referenced people are giving me about armor and such. I certainly needed them when I was designing this! -laughs-

It looks super I think~ >w< The design is really flowy, and after reading your description and comments, I think I could agree. ^^ The design also kind of hints of Final Fantasy IV in a slight way--a lil' reminiscent of Cecil's Dark Knight form, if you know what I mean. Or Kain from FF IV. Or a cross between both. Regardless, it's still pure epic win.

I thank you for your comments and I apologize for not commenting more on your recent updates. I barely manage to look at people's postings these days. I did want to mention your art is growing by leaps and bounds. The first piece or art you submitted compared to what you are currently accomplishing is marvelous and should be extremely encouraging. You've come very far and show no sign of stopping.

You update so often that I have hard keeping up. I wish I was as productive. It takes me weeks to even flip my sketchbook open. You deserve all of you skills and advancement as you clearly work progressively toward your goals. -grins- I...trudge and you sprint. ^^
Very nice. I like his gear especially from foot to knee. The helmet makes me giggle a bit. There's something 'off' in the design but I'd still pale if I saw THAT coming toward me from across the battlefield! O_O

I saw him kneeling with his sword and he looked fairly wicked but his shoulder armor is...well..a mess. It looks like a waded up metal with some lines going through it. Not to say mine is a vast improvement but I just expected more from the FF designers.
She's definitely talented. Her coloring is much better than mine which is why I am trying to devote myself to improving my design and lineart skills. Coloring is way too heavy a challenge to overcome right now.
Actually, having a job is no excuse for I have both the MAC and the software before me and...I still do nothing with my free time. I'm trying to break my lazy habits.
I'm deeply honored that I would inspire you but I think you've graduated long ago from using me as any kind of guide. You're doing very well these days on your own.
