I'm a bit curious about Tziah's children. Kahl never mated with her, right? So who is Shariti and Njama's daddy?

XD Long story short, Hukumu kidnapped Kisa and was threatening her, and the price of ensuring her safety was well... yeah if you go on the forum ind into the Oasis thread "The Devils Share" you'll see the specifics XD

Here's one thing I really like about Tziah. In movies, especially kids' movies, the villains are very cheesy and stereotypical. They have an evil grin, evil laugh, evil appearance and so on. Think of Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty or the Queen from Snow White.

The thing is, villains aren't like that in real life. They act more or less like everybody else. What makes them a villain is the things they do, and the reasons they do them. Not a classical 'evil' demeanor. And that's what I like about Tziah. She's a very realistic villain. Much more like Al Capone than Maleficent.

I'm so happy to hear that you like her I quite enjoy writing her myself, she's easily my favorite character to write because of how she is, and her unique way of seeing the world. She very much sees things in terms of black and white, like facts are facts, something is or isnt, theres very few shades of gray in how she reacts to and responds to situations due to her dulled spectrum of emotions.

That's half of why she can do what she does so easily [murder/torture/rape/blackmail/manipulation/ectectect] because it doesn't really bother her the way it would bother others. All she really cares about is maintaining her power and doing anything and everything for Cyte to pay him back for his neverending support.

After Reasonable Doubt, I may or may not be working on Cyte and Tziah's backstory with Otterssoul [Cyte's creator and owner], we were tossing ideas back and forth last night and both agreed we really wanna tell that story and show how those two came to be the sociopathic power-hungry control freaks they are today; afer-all, no one starts out evil~ Like with anything else, they weren't like them until they became them

(Sorry, I meant to reply to this ages ago)

Here's the way I see Tziah. I don't really like her as a person (I don't like people like that IRL either), but she's a brilliant character, and one of the best villains I've seen. Her behavior, appearance, demeanor and motivations are much more like real-life villains than cartoon villains. Cartoon villains tend to be very much aware of how "evil" they are. They know they are the bad guys and the heroes are the good guys, and they are proud to be on the "dark side". But Tziah is different. Instead of saying "there is good and evil, and I'm evil" she seems to dismiss the very notion of "good" and "evil", replacing it with "us" and "them". While few people could relate to her fully, I think many would find her very plausible.

And I must say, I do like Tziah more as a person now than when I first started reading this comic. At first I just thought "bloody hell, what a sicko". All I saw was a lion who kills for sport. But after having followed your comic for a while, I think I understand her better now. I've noticed that Tziah seemed to be very touched by Kisa's acceptance of the way she is, and this is what made her warm up to Kisa. So I think I know why Tziah is so cold towards others. It's not because of the way she is - it's because people judge her for the way she is. And when you know that most of the world's people hate and judge you because of something you can't help, how can you not hate them back?

Hehehe that's a very good observation. Yeah, as you will see later on when me and Otterssoul are finished writing Cyte&Tziah's backstory [which we've started investing some serious afterschool time into LOL], things progressed at a very slow rate. They tried to be good for a long time, they really tried. But honestly, everything that could have gone wrong and slowly warp their views did go wrong and slowly warped their views until they both finally snapped and started to develop a desire to intentionally hurt others.

Yeah Kisa's a very rare exception, there have only ever been 4 lions in 9 years of life that Tziah has ever cared about, and they've also been the only ones to not constantly remind her that there's something wrong with her xP

I will say though, she doesn't really kill for sport. Sometimes she'll do bad things if shes bored, but overall her kills are very strategic and done for profit and power gain. She and Cyte are very particular about how they go about things, rather than being random with it. Hence why they're more into organized crime rather than just crime

I knew Shariti was related to her. c:< It was pretty easy to tell from his first colors. xD

But now I'm very intrigued. .3.

Why does she hate herb addicts anyway? Bad experiences or something?

I'm still piecing it together, but it'd probably have something to do with Hukumu since he's the source of most of her issues [beyond her disorder]

Cyte's twin brother, whom Cyte often blamed for his own crimes due to bring identical twins :3
