wow, this is sick! I love it... the extreme contrast really makes it jump out at you
although it has a dark feelling of being trapped... seeing this man raise out from the box long for the symbolic bird of freedom, it gives a since of hope... at least thats my pointa view, thanks for the aww inspiring work!

excellent contrast and textures- i really like the motif in the arms, like they have glowing veins. nice overall composition and concept too.

+it started off as a macabre thing and wound up like that, the dove is a classic Holy Spirit icon... otherwise it's all from the head

+it's the modernized version of the brush-on white-out, you can get it on any office supply store. they have a trick: you have to squeeze and push down to get them flowing, so it takes a bit to learn to control it

I used to draw with a "white-out" pen too, but nowhere near this quality though...
great work...reminds me a lot of Alex Grey's work...
how did you achieve the smudge effect of the oval?
Looks like you might have smudge the white out around with the pad of your thumb....

+i started to get that feeling toward the end, i intended something more macabre but it turned out quite cosmic
the oval is white acrylic applied w/brush, i really like the texture/tonal contrast with the white-out.
