This is such a great scene. I love how we are looking over his shoulder and the rifle looks so good. I really like the wounds on his hand too. Also, is that a kill count on the stock of the rifle?

Thanks for the feedback; really love critiques. Yes, it is a kill-count. The categories are zombies, humans (raiders), animals, and demons.

I'm digging the perspective on this. All the colors fit in as well. Great job overall.

Wonderful. I really like the detail and a sense of a survivor you get from this, great work.

Thanks. I just wish I'd done it in higher detail. In reality it's only like 5" x 6". Had to crank it out for portfolio deadline.

Just realized too, was this inspired by the Fallout games?
If not, your description is pretty darn close to what the games are generally about.

Yes, it was inspired largely by Fallout. I would have picked a different country to have the U.S. go to war with, but China/North Korea seem to be the biggest threat right now, apart from the Middle East anyway. But at the moment the nations there are too busy fighting each other to fight the U.S. Plus, I'd rather not create a story where America nukes Israel.
