Scale it up a bit. This one looks to be about 80 tons, maybe 90 if the truck is an indicator. Make it at least 30% bigger. Looks nice, even so.

The backdrop and surrounding buildings were an afterthought on the image, scaled them as best i could to take up the space

No, these were my own "fun stuff" prior to (and helping me secure) my commissions, I can take no credit for the backdrops, they are internet photo's of war torn area's (this one was the middle east) which I edited for color, threw some flames in and tried my best to scale and rotate to match the mech. it was work, but they are not my renderings...I am working on a cityscape though...
