Even the artist said its an AK-47, and there are types of AK's that look all steel. And I doubt they're using the first assault rifle ever made...

Yeah, I know it even though I don't do it very often (in fact, only a handful of times actually...). Some of them are really visually interesting, but I tend to leave them out. Usually because of it taking so long, but also for another reason... I like to make sure my designs are as clear as possible, and since the very nature of camouflage is to break up edges/lines, it kind of counters that. Not only in vehicle designs, but in characters too, especially since I usually do a lot in the way of pencil shading already. It just seems to clutter things up, ya know?
Regardless... like I said they're really fun stuff. I should like to design a few patterns myself sometime, would be fun
