I dig the wide range of line weight variation, and the inking style in general. The finer hatching wasn't done with the brush, right?
Also, I agree about the chin stubble, hah hah. Instant +5 to Awesome.

Yerp. that's pen. The pentel I used has trouble with fine hatching so I use my pack of faber-catelle's to feather the lines. I have a new pentel that I got that I inked this upcoming predator pic with and all the fine hatching on it was done with the brush. It's pretty sweet.

this is a great piece, man, amazing inkwork and composition. sounds weird but i think my favorite part is his chin stubble.
