Nothing like a little break to allow ya to upload some stuff. Here's another picture of the pokémon/megaman x project: this time we have Axl.

Bear in mind that this picture is months old before i started using manga books for reference and i don't have all the data on all the pokémon yet.

Name: Axl Cossack

Age: 15

Gender: Male

Hometown, Region: Abel Town, Arcadia

Current Status: Traveling

Trainer Tittle: The Athlete

Achivements: Runner-up of the First Pokémon Training School Charity Pokéathlon.

Bio: The youngest of the bunch, Axl's loudmouthed, hyperactive, impulsive and cocky and he's always ready with smart-aleck remark or teasing comments about others especially couples which often annoys his friends and others to no end. Despite that, he's good hearted and always tries to do the right thing and help others. He's always eager to explore and have fun and approaches all new challenges with great zeal.

History: Axl loves pokémon and loves to battle, but could never win a single battle against his friends when he was a kid, so he tried to find other ways to show how capable as a trainer he could be. When he learned about the Pokéathlon he wasted no time in trying it out. To his and his friends’ surprise, he turned out to be quite good at it. Now he aims to be a top Pokémon Athlete.

Attributes: Axl’s naturally athletic so he has no trouble teaching pokémon on how to use their own abilities in order to help them in sports and out of tight spots.

Trivia: Axl uses a special brand of running shoes that allows him to run really fast and to jump really high. With them, he can keep up with his pokémon no problem. However, the shoes are prone to glitches wich lead to unexpected and funny situations.

The pokémons on this picture are the six ones I first came up for Axl's team. There are other six i plan to draw on the nearby future. Asides Archie, his starter, and Marshall, his first captured pokémon, I haven't really decided the order he gets them.

Archie the Treecko: Axl's been wanting a Treecko for a starter ever since he was a kid. The reason: his surrogate father, an adventurer known as Red that mysteriously vanished when Axl was only 4, owned a Sceptile that found Axl as a baby and played with him. His dream came true when he rescued a young Treecko from falling of a tree. Grateful for being saved and for Axl sharing his snack bar with him, Archie and Axl bonded in no time. Like Axl, Archie is fun loving and a tad cocky, but is more serious than his trainer often nudging him when he feels it's necessary.

Marshall the Mawile: While exploring a cave, Axl and Chandara, Pallette's Igglybuff, got separated from the group and accidentaly startled a baby Mawile who cried loudly and nearly chomped both. With Chandara's help, Axl managed to calm him down and Marshall befriends both. Marshall then helps them find his friends and lead them out of the cave, but when he sees Axl leaving he starts following him. He doesn't want to be alone so Axl challenges him to a battle with Archie and after the latter wins he happily goes into a pokéball. Marshall is easily scared and has the bad habit of biting whatever scares him.

Toshi the Ditto: While the gang set up a camp for the night, Axl and Archie came across a starving Treecko that was full of scars. They take him back to the camp to feed him but when he's acidentally tickled, he reverts to his original form: a ditto. Through Saliema's powers they learn that Ditto was used on cruel experiments in order to expand his transformation powers. Because of that he can use certain moves without being transformed, but the harsh treatment also left him with scars that show on whatever pokémon he transforms into. Angered by that and when two grunts appear to retrieve Toshi, Axl fiercely fights them off. Touched by the boy's courage, Toshi stands up for himself and after the danger is passed, he challenges axl for a battle and a chance to joing the team. Axl agrees and Toshi is captured after a battle.

Trigger the Heracross: While walking down a road, Axl was glomped/tackled down by a wild Heracross that started noming on his head. Axl panicked thinking he was trying to eat his brains, but he actually only wanted the honey flavored candy bar Axl had hidden under his cap. After sorting things out, Axl gave him the candy bar and the Heracross protected him from a group of Pinsirs that wanted the candy bar, Axl was so grateful that he decided to bring Trigger along.

Gacheru the Croagunk: While the gang was taking a rest at a hotsprings resort, the girls scream because they saw someone or something spying on them. Axl chases after the pursuer who turns out to be only a Croagunk after he sprained his ankle trying to outrun him. Apparently, he was fascinated by people coming and going at the springs so he kept watching them. Unfortunately Axl got lost chasing him and now he didn't know how to get back to the resort. Luckily, Gacheru was a keen observer and knew his way around the forest so he led Axl back while the young boy carried him on his back. After getting his leg treated, Gacheru happily hopped around, thanking Axl. Taking such a liking to each other, Axl invites him to the team.

Gunther the Axew: The gang was training when they saw a wild Axew curiously following a group of Woobats out of a nearby cave when he jumped off a rock trying to follow them, but he crashes into the ground. The head injury caused him to have a fever. The gang quickly rushes to help him but there's no pokémon center nearby so the gang uses potions and berries to heal him. With Pallette's help, he manages to lower the fever but keep a watch over him through the entire night with Archie who ends developing a friendship with the little dragon, a sort of brotherly relationship. The following morning, Gunther is better and even helps Axl rescue Archie and his other pokémon from thieves joining the team afterwards. He's young and unexperienced in battle so he looks up to Archie a lot.
