Northern Pakistan has the most amazing wilderness. Mighty Himalayas, Giant Karakorum and killer 20,000+ ft peaks. Its world of its own. Every inch is worth capturing.

from the news it doesn't seem like it would be the place to visit right about now... i hope to get a chance in a few years! great photos, have spent much time there?

yeah it is quite unfortunate. But the instability is usually isolated in specific territories, usually the ones near Afghanistan border. Rest of the country is quite safe and i personally know a lot of foreigners living in islamabad.
