Description A Kilij. Steel is 1075, mild steel guard, G10 scales with brass pins, with a little steel wire wrapped at the top of the handle.

Overall roughly (curvature, it is hard to meaure) 32 3/8" overall
Blade is 27 1/2"
Hilt is 5"
Width at the base of the blade is 1 1/4", one inch from the tip it is 5/8"
POB is 5 3/4" out from the guard

That's not a kilij, that's Shamshir. Kilij has a big knife edge growing out something like a Scimitar.

It's really cool, I mean, REALLY cool- just not a kilij.

Very nice. One thing I like about your blades is the very utilitarian aura they have. Not a lot of fancy gew-gaws(I love that word). They look like what they are; a tool to make a job easier. Not that their job is a particularly nice one.

The slightly downward curved hilt is something i love to see, it chages the cut dynamic in good ways (powerful slashes)

This one is a fave.

Heh.. I had to google what that "G10 scales" means. First i think that handle was made from bone, because the color was just the same what i have seen in some museum pieces.

Yes, I have showed it to 3 people in person now and the first thing they all said was "what nice horn!" then had to explain it was a laminate like fiberglass.
