I'm sorry it scanned so bad...I might take a picture to show you how badly it scans the dark parts...the whole background is a medium gray in real life

Love this~ You have pretty much perfect proportions here... the pointe shoes even look like a reasonable size compared to her. The shading could be smoother but it's still great!

This is brilliant! I think the shades could do with being a lot smoother though. I think (though not sure, just my opinion) if you did a darker background towards her right then it would compliment the shading on her. I'm not certain because I generally copy straight from the reference and don't experiment much

SG. This is soooo beautiful. Your shading is soooo smooth and professional in this piece, it's amazing! The detail in her eyes and the shading of her ballet shoes really make this piece for me, as well as the delicate highlights in the hair. Beautiful piece! Your art is improving very quickly!
