The dog in this image is an English Setter, probably still a young one at that, considering his ear feathers don't appear to be fully grown in yet. <3 Really pretty creatures if I do say so myself.

seems pretty settled for being only a year old. Beautiful dog, always loved setters.... yet thus far my dogs all end up to be herding breeds and mixes.
I actually knew an awesome English Setter once named Max who used to treat me and only me as if I were his pillow. Was a really awesome dog, probably where I get my impression on setters (not that I don't have a slight obsession for all things canine). But anyway, what I really wanted to say, was the Bentley looks gorgeous.

oh man, setters can SLEEP i tell ya.. that's one craft they've mastered for sure. so not surprised a setter turned you in to a pillow..
anyway thank you, he's a huge favorite in my universe who i really look forward to every day.

There were only a handful of English Setters at the Golden Gate Kennel Club show in South SF today, but they were lovely. They weren't quite as speckled as Bentley here, but they definitely had his jowls and ears!

I think the kennel was called Winchester--I remember because of the Winchester Mystery House.

It's not a red cast, it's a magenta cast. You can spot this by the additional blue cast especially on the face.
AND blue is opposite to yellow.
AND red = magenta + yellow, not magenta + blue
AND it would certainly be nicer to see these shots without the magenta or the blue casts.
To distinguish the difference between red and magenta is probably one of the most difficult tasks in photography, analog or digital, but very important in color correction. Once that's spotted most other color casts are a doddle.
Lesson over, I suppose it's of no interest to you anyway, so I'll crawl back in my hole now...
