I love the composition, focus and overall photograph on many more levels. What gives me the most feeling is the height at which it was taken - I can see myself as the other dog he is playing ball with........ very beautiful art work.

Great concept and nice bw and contrast.
You have some border clipping on the top center of your photo. ([link] ) The person who added the border must have just filled the layer in PS with out thinking about tolerance levels.

Very nice shot indeed. I like how the focus is on the tennis ball and not the dog. I'm not sure of the term that is used for this but I like how everything is not centered as well, this shows good technique in my mind. I learned something about that in photography class but I can't remember the term, argh! It's gonna drive me nuts and if I knew the term you would know exactly what I meant.
:devtaninaZ: did a really good job with the contrast and I am a fan of the border.
Though, my favorite part about this photo is the grass surrounding the ball. For me it almost gives it a feel of the ball is in danger. Like that is a treacherous place that no one should go. Like the woods in Harry Potter.

Spyed - this isn't a bad shot at all -- although it has it's issues, they are subdued by the style and it being B/W....
And if you can - - PLEASE do more of these....

I'm actually more aware now than when I took this photo of the issues with it. The focus is intentionally off, but not in the right way. And the tennis ball is blown out when it should be perfectly in focus.
One day I might get lucky and capture this in a better way... I truly have many more opportunities to do so.
