An idea I got after playing some SA2 where Knuckles also has to find shards of the Master Emerald underwater. Then I had a look at my 'Refraction' picture, which I have printed out and hanging on my wall, and then I really wanted to draw an underwater picture again.
Referenced some Google pics for the rocks. First I thought they were too blurry, but then I thought 'hey, it is blurry underwater.
Pretty much a speedpaint, by my standards at least.

Me too. I actually have every Sonic game for the GameCube. I recently got Sonic Adventure DX HD and Sonic Adventure 2 Battle HD. I just need to get 100% of the trophies in SA2B HD. I only have 3 more trophies for Unleashed. I'm at 95%. I wonder what will be my 9th Platinum trophy.

And no matter if it's the sky or the depths of the sea, your backgrounds are always amazing. Although I liked the rocks a bit more before you added the bubbles and the shard's glow. They actually looked like you took a photo Β
Then again, the "Gesamtkunstwerk" ^^ looks better for the effects.
...I would never have survived this game without the necklace.

Well, it looks more underwaterish now that there are the bubbles and some more blurs. The Gesamtkunstwerk required that Knuckles, the shard and the rocks all look like they are at the same place, or at least in the same element. Too much photo wasn't effective.
But anyway, thanks a lot. You're the only one who saw it unfinished.
Cannon Core would be hard without it, yes. But with the necklace, you miss the funny 'you're about to drown' countdown.
