I'm not even sure what's going on here.I worked on and off on this picture for three years. I picked it up first in 2011 and decided that I hated it so I stopped working on it. Last year I picked it back up and worked on the face some, then decided I was stumped and didn't want to work on the rest of it, so it sat again, until now. Finally I got the inspiration to finish this thing and it looks absolutely nothing like the original sketch. That's probably a good thing.
This particular character was one that never got used. Her name is Levana and she is blind. I abandoned that little story a long time ago but she still deserved a painting :3

Lol, I do this a lot...but often never finish...or it's been so long I just start over because I figure I can just redo it better at that point XD (I got some WIP in my WIP folder I haven't touched since then...-_-)

Those wings are absolutely gorgeous. You did such a great job, it's almost like I can feel how soft they are right through the screen. I'm glad you stuck it out and finished this, because it is amazing <3

She reminds me a lot of one of my OC's. Every time I see your
picture I get the urge to write more of my characters story.

no , its not that, i have seen your other work i think its that the eyes have a similar colour to the eyes so they seem to disappear

Thank you! I may post some of the progression at some point lol. The difference is really quite shocking. I was surprised with myself at how much the piece changed by the time I was ready to call it finished.
