I was lost with my drawing technique, wasn't sure why i couldn't make something decent, something that i could like, until I saw your "Why your drawings suck" video. Not gonna lie my art growth was around anime/manga, but i'll try to learn the rules before breaking then, as they say haha

I was suggested to check out your YouTube after a toxic ass started calling out my art without providing more objective criticism. I will say that I am glad that he linked me to your channel though, I'm very interested in the drawing exercises that I glanced over in your videos.

Although I do think that art styles are subjective, I do agree that its important to better improve the focal point and other technical qualities of your drawings. I'll certainly be sure to check out more of your past (and possibly future) content, and I'm looking forward to growing more as an artist thanks to your videos.

I love your Youtube channel, it helps me pinpoint my own weaknesses in other's works, as well as learn new techniques. Sadly my school doesn't do this kind of technical teaching (we're expected to either already have it or just "stylize". ) so you've kind of become a substitute tutor. Thanks for all your hard work!

I just found you on YouTube and checked out your work and .. It is amazing! You inspire a lot!
I am a beginner artist, in a sence That I have been drawing for years but never a actually doing it seriously, and now I am super motivated to learn and grow as much as it is Possible and Become better! The problem is I do not have anyone to talk about art about mistakes and improvement. That is why I am searching for someone to help me. Infrequently having your youtube videos playing in background while drawing, always accompanying low music in VLC. Doubting a bit today, like "ever reaching goals..?" and your stream starting simultaneous with copy of Borderlands 2 OST.  Thinking computer dying, shut off VLC and *today's Critique Hour had same music. 

Never into coincidence or luck, but quite amusing and quick snapping into better feeling. Lifetime fan!

Mm, also giving thanks for amazing resources\practical examples && articulate honesty. Not often finding both in one place/artist, let alone used together, haha.

I've been feeling really down about my work lately- but as luck would have it, Youtube recommended your videos to me, and watching them has honestly helped me so much. Your words of  wisdom are super inspiring, and you have such a relateable personality that it really makes learning from you all that easier. When you talk about yourself as a young artist, I see a lot of my younger self in the stories that you tell, and it's so meaningful to me.

Um..., if it's no trouble, would you mind critiquing a piece of my art? I'm working on a realism picture for a good friend of mine and it's not my first time doing realism, but it is my first time doing it on the computer. (Joy...) Plus, I've just started getting my spark for drawing back and I can tell that I'm horribly rusty...

I've watched a couple of your livestreams and you seem like you have a really good grasp on realism. I feel like I'm decent, but I could most certainly improve. If it's too much trouble I understand completely.
