I wish I could afford to pay others to popularize my characters like that. Jesus. Seen this Soviet chick in a lot of art lately.

I wanted to have a distinctly super-hero spin on the character as well as keep as true to the old fables.

I thought in the actual myth his phylactery was destroyed.

Well, the literal Slavic bogeyman would be Torbalan, not Koschei, though Koschei is a fairly iconic Russian antagonist.
If you're drawing on Koschei, it would be a shame not to allude to Stravinsky's The Firebird.

I got a golden che-est, I got a golden che-est! And guess what's inside it!
Seriously though, I'm interested that you're now dipping into mythology after focusing on more of a sci-fi angle for so long. I'd heard of Baba Yaga, but Koschei is totally new to me.
BTW, what does девочка mean and how do you pronounce it?

Thanks.
And have Siberian Guardsman and Red Nova actually appeared in your stories? Or were they confrontations that happened "off-screen" as it were?

Боюсь себе даже представить избушку на курьих ножках или змея Горыныча в таком исполнении...
I simply had to write it in Russian.

An interesting two edged sword to flee the city: Save innocent citizens but at the same time prevent help from coming from random other heroines/heroes that would probably soon arrive.
I'm talking in general here as in this case Olga seems to want to end this alone anyway.

Baba Yaga: *curious* "What... What is that you're eating?"
Cedric Grey: "A Turducken! A Turkey, stuffed with duck, stuffed with chicken..."
Baba Yaga: *uncontrollable shuddering*
Cedric: "You know... This needs bacon... Baturducken..."
Baba Yaga: "STOP! STOP! I feel old already!"

wow, whoever hates Olga is really going all out here; it does makes me wonder if this little beatdown is going to draw out a particular OC of mine, seeing as the old hag involved here (The Baba, you ninnies!) just might still remember a certain child of a dark god and how pissed off he gets when her schemes and spells bring her minions around; care to let old Dom have a few rounds with this big lout? beyond that, great work here, SSW!
