I feel compelled to say something self deprecating as if I need to balance the compliment

Bisexual fingerguns intensify
Sounds familiar. Be he lynx, or be he ocelot?
Mayhap a revolver ocelot?

I swear, I could hear Adamska's voice reading that =^.^= And the gesture and expression are certainly there. When it comes to classy felines (well, in spirit at least) with guns akimbo swinging both ways, he's pretty much the calibration standard. It's a good sign.

It has been years since I have been able to play that game but that moment is eternal

Indeed. He may claim he is no ocelot, but the right hand knows what the left is doing -.o
Come to think of it, MGS3 is probably one of the best examples of representation in games done right. Volgin may be cartoonishly evil, but the deeper one digs in the secrets of the game, the more apparent it gets his relationship with Raikov is genuinely tender. Conversely the Boss, probably the most thoroughly self-sacrificing characters in the series, is not exactly a tolerant figure. It has both characters who do not have their character dwarfed by their own sexuality, and sympathetic characters with less than sympathetic views.
A bit strange media so rarely cites it in an LGBT context; it seems grey potrayals rarely are overall.
Somehow Ocelot's protesting Snake is not an actual snake and he is no ocelot feels very appropriate. MGS3 really got that to be people, characters got to have more than one word to define them.

That must be why MGS3 was my favorite and most memorable one in the series.

I don't get it, why is there a need to be prideful as to where you stick it?Β

Don't think I can help you get it. Sounds like a personal problem.
Don't worry about it if it is not your thing

For any pride movement, it's about visibility for groups that used to be marginalized in some way and visibility can help to greater acceptability. However, if anyone wants heterosexual pride, that's cool by me. I want to celebrate the things that make us who we are, especially in love. If you don't see the point in it, that is fine; I can't and won't force you to participate.
