Oh yes.
When it comes to character design, would dare say this is a step up. While it lacks the obvious time-tested functionality of your historical work, her outfit is very coherently assembled, and the way you used the colours is immediately eyecatching: A gradient from near-black, to half-grey, then finally to saturated red. Particularly like how the lockpicks are visibly different - nothing adds flavour to details quite as asymmetry. Also, apart from the figure, that is a balanced layout and a good choice of crisp, neutral font, with the doodle under her name adding individuality without distracting. I must say (for better or worse) it gives a much more inviting impression than some professional work I have seen - as late as yesterday.
Her waist is a bit narrow - or perhaps she has pre-Oblivion proportions? - and the headband makes the flow of the head hair in front of her ears somewhat unclear. But overall, a solid piece. And unquestionably a character!
Well done.
On a side note, quite enjoyed the stoat. The mustelid with the toothbrush haircut reminded me what caught my eye with the work of SairianAhornsirup , which precipitated the whole tale of mink and robot weasel on bizarre adventure. Nostalgia for a year and a half back in still nostalgia. Just did not want to mention it there since it was a gift for the doctor, and did not want to butt in.
Twofold, well done.

Thank you. Asymmetry was a big part of what I wanted to do with this outfit design. I also initially sketched the lock picks the same but then I remembered what an actual lock pick set looks like, with a range of shapes so the tumblers could be moved with more precision. The waist is indeed a bit narrow, but I wasn't sure if that might have been the result of the exaggerated hips and cropped jacket.
I'm glad you liked the stoat, which reminds me... If my notifications are accurate, they tell me you have a birthday coming up...

Somehow I am reminded of the safecracker from Terry Pratchett's Hogfather, who carries a very extensive set of lockpicks that looks quite like a brush head from a distance - his sense for the nuances of different locks being so encompassing that it is impossible to tell one pick from its closest neighbours with the naked eye.
But then again, in Tamriel locks have understandably evolved to be big, coarse and rough to defeat their chief predators, roaming protagonists. In that evolutionary arms race prey is still on the losing end.
And indeed... Am putting the largely unchanged telomeres of our archaic homo sapiens ancestors to the test for the thirty-third time.
Going back to my old hometown to celebrate, but got to admit, secretly hoping to squeeze in as much time as possible to paint in between the hurrah.

I think Tamriel locks try to rely on precision tempering of the tumbler springs for security.
I hope you have a great celebration.

Thank you, and I think the well-wishing has taken effect already. It is 6am and I've gotten first out if bed without anyone waking me with song. Splendid!

I like the armor. Looks as if she omitted certain pieces for the sake of mobility, which would make perfect sense for a thief : D Good work!

Now that you mention it, the outfit does remind me of Ves from "The Witcher". I think it is the jacket.
