I've waited and waited to finish this piece, and finally I can put the pen down and call it done. ♥
For those that follow my tumblr you'll remember both the sketch and the wips I posted last month before my life was totally overrun with work. With a day off to call my own, I decided to get this out before going to bed. I'd been restless and despite being tired, couldn't really get sleepy - so why not finish art? My beloved Ravi finally has a worthwhile portrait and my goal is to finish his six "brothers" as companion pieces.

Its been a long time since I've drawn him, let alone colored him digitally for that matter. The biggest challenge was the iridescence since he has a sheen similar to a sunbeam snake, it took some tinkering but I got it to a point I'm very satisfied with. This piece was exactly what I needed to start me out again~ ♥
