I like the intrustion of the uneven bricks on the left side, and the yellow really places your eye in the right place. Nicely executed.

What do you think of the colour balance overall? It was only a quick edit as it was always destined for Scraps, but I think I may have over-yellowed it...

It's called a forsythia. Their natural form is actually just SPRAYS AND SPRAYS OF YELLOW HAPPINESS but people prune them into those poor little clumps just struggling to scream "YELLOW!"

I'd be considerably freaked out if I walked past a bush and it screamed "YELLOW!" at me

I think I would be freaked out at first, and then giggle hysterically.


We should hire midgets to hide in those bushes and scream 'YELLOW!" at passers-by.
